Announcement of copyright policy
To achieve a "gold" open-access policy, the Japan Epidemiological Association (JEA) is happy to announce a change in copyright policy to a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported (CC-BY) License , for research published on an open-access basis in the Journal of Epidemiology. As a result of this change, users of the journal will be able to reuse content in any way they like, provided it is accurately attributed. Copyright stays with the agreed copyright owner.
According to the conditions of this change, articles accepted on or after April 1, 2013 will automatically be published under the CC-BY License. Articles accepted before March 31, 2013, whose copyright belongs to JEA, will also be published under the CC-BY License.
