[Announcement] WCE2021 Travel Award for JEA members

The Japan Epidemiological Association (JEA) invites applications for the WCE2021 Travel Award. JEA members who have an accepted abstract for presentation (poster or oral) at the World Congress of Epidemiology (WCE) 2021 are eligible for this award. This award is intended to defray the cost of attending the meeting to support early career epidemiologists in the presentation of their high-quality research and their professional development.

An award of 50,000 JPY will be made to approximately 7 participants which is intended to offset expenses related to attending WCE 2021.
In addition, if a first author manuscript based on your WCE presentation is accepted for publication in the Journal of Epidemiology no later than December 2022, the JEA Global Affairs Promotion Committee will cover the publication fee. This can be redeemed by contacting the JEA office at the time of manuscript acceptance (jea@jeaweb.jp).
